When disasters hit our island communities, The Salvation Army Hawaiian & Pacific Islands Division Emergency Disaster Services responds with immediate relief, providing food, essential supplies, and emotional and spiritual care to those facing crisis. Then we walk with neighbors through long-term recovery.
Our teams have been on the ground across the Hawaiian Islands, responding to the devastating impacts of Hurricane Lala and Hurricane Lowell, working in close partnership with local government agencies and community organizations to provide relief with compassion.
